Bananarama Pancakes 

INGREDIENTS: 

96 Aunt Jemima® Pancakes (whole grain) (#43582) 

1 c. butter

2/3 c. Log Cabin® Original Syrup (#34901)

2 2/3 c. brown sugar, packed

2 tbsp. vanilla extract

2 tbsp. cinnamon, ground

1 c. water

6 qt. bananas, fresh, 1/2 in. slices

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 

Heat pancakes according to package directions. CCP: Hold for hot service at 135˚F or higher. 

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat butter and brown sugar until butter melts. Add vanilla, cinnamon and water. Cook, stirring, until mixture simmers.

Add bananas. Heat through. CCP: Hold for hot service at 135˚F or higher.

Portion: Using 4 oz. ladle (1/2 c) pour banana mixture over 2 pancakes.

1 serving provides: 1.5 WGR Grains, 1/2 cup Fruit
