Italian Saus’age & Peppers
4 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
5 lb. gardein™ Sliced Italian Saus’age (7426710139)
6 Onions, large, sliced
6 Bell Peppers, red/orange/yellow, cored, seeded, sliced into strips
Salt & Pepper to taste
1. Heat oil in a large heavy pan. Brown the Sliced Italian Saus’age on both sides.
2. Add onions; cook for 10 minutes or until translucent.
3. Add peppers; cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
Serve on an Italian roll topped with melted provolone cheese*, over polenta, pasta or rice, or with roasted potatoes.
*Substitute vegan option if desired.
