Monte Cristo Bagel Panini

 

INGREDIENTS: 

6 Lenders® Traditional Plain Bagels (0076800 00311) 

12 slices Virginia ham

12 slices gruyere or swiss Cheese

1 1/2 c. heavy cream

3 eggs

1/2 c. butter

Maple Dijon Sauce:

1/3 c. maple syrup

1 c. mayonnaise

3 tbsp. dijon mustard

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 

For each serving, top bagel base with 1 slice cheese, 2 slices, ham, 1 slice of cheese and bagel top.

Combine cream with eggs. Dip each side of the bagel sandwich in cream/egg mixture and fry in butter until golden.

Whisk to combine maple dijon sauce and serve on the side.
